Entertainment:
Tuesdays
Our weekly trivia night "Never Cheer Until You Know Who's Winning!" is hosted by the one and only Mr Mikey Cahill and Kerrie "The Lovely" Loveless! Held in the Backroom adjacent to the Restaurant, Trivia is sponsored by the charming boys from ThunderRoad Brewery, Brunswick and kicks off from 7:30pm. Sign up is free and there are great prizes up for grabs! Restaurant diners are welcome to take part in trivia but please note, there will be some noise overflow until approximately 9.30pm.
In the Front Bandroom we have our weekly band showcase courtesy of "Melbourne Fresh" who do great work supporting Melbourne bands, singer/songwriters, MC’s and composers.
Wednesday
LOST & FOUND Wednesdays with our "Golden Ticket Treasure Hunt" is a surefire way to stay entertained mid week! Each Wednesday 'Golden Tickets' are hidden in our Backroom, with chances to find some great deals and give aways. Watch our Colonel Tan's Facebook page for updates to tell you which of our couches contain prizes- and then its ready, set, GO!
DJs and Bands play 'til late: It's the place to go for a dose of your fave Rock n' Old School tracks with DJ's Spidey, Mary M, Adalita (Magic Dirt), Whitt (Spiderbait), Gupstar, Shakey Memorial and guests.
Thursday
3181 Thursday is Local's Night! People who live, work or study in the 3181 post code get 50% off their food- and it is busy, busy, busy! The venue is set up as a supersized loungeroom with vintage video games and laid back music from DJ Hans DC. We unfortunately do not run Revolver Designer Market night any more, but watch this space for occasional 'pop up' markets!
Weekly bands in the Front Bandroom and then "Heartbreaker" take over the DJ booth from 12am-late. And best of all, it's free entry!
Friday
We open from midday on Fridays- the one day of the week where you can get your Colonel Tan's fix at lunch time! Serving all the way through to 11pm, we are an ideal place for after work drinks when it's waaay too cold to be standing around outside on Chapel St. Chilled out tunes by DJ Henry Who start from 7pm and then Mike Callander brings us into the night life from 11pm.
Live music is on in the Front Bandroom every week, so check out the gig guide at the Revolver Upstairs website for weekly listings.
Saturday
A mixture of Local and International DJs, the Restaurant is bustling and vibrant! Kick back with guest DJs from 8pm and kick on with Live music in the Front bandroom then DJs until late.
Lineup varies from week to week so be sure to check out the gig guide at the Revolver Upstairs website for weekly listings.

Bookings:
Bookings can be made during office hours and restaurant hours. We accept bookings of all sizes and can cater for larger groups, but please be advised that bookings for 15 or more automatically default to a 'Banquet menu'. All menu items listed are still available on the 'Banquet menu' - please feel free to contact us for large groups so we can tailor the menu specifically to your needs.
3181 Locals Night (Thursdays):
3181 Locals night runs every Thursday, serving up good beats with our resident DJ and delicious food. To clarify, the 50% discount applies to an entree and a main- per local. A local is defined as someone who lives or works specifically in the 3181 area. You may be asked to prove this by showing some form of ID, bank statement or pay slip etc. Please keep in mind, we fill up pretty quickly on this night, so a booking is recommended or aim to come down a bit earlier to grab a couch seating.
Parking:
Chapel St has unpaid two hour parking 9am-6pm, untimed free parking 6pm onwards. There are council carparks off Anchor Place and Cecil Place which run off Chapel St, opposite Colonel Tan’s with free untimed parking after 6pm.
Public Transport:
Train: Colonel Tan’s is a short stroll along Greville St from Prahran Station, on the Sandringham line.
